I want to remake a popular online animation "Banana Phone" by Dave Teatro into a film. I know you have to credit him saying its from this animation and the characters based by him. But do i have to contact him for permission?

There is no need to give extensive details, though feel free to do so if you want to. I'm just looking for the line, the character that says it, possibly also the actor, and the film or tv show. Ideally, it should also be a stand-alone line that is just as funny without contextual descriptions.

My vote goes to Peter Sellers as the balding president of USA in Doctor Strangelove: "Staines, get Premier Kissov on the hotline." It makes me laugh everytime I think of it.

About a month or more ago I read a review about this British film and it sounded interesting so I wanted to buy it. I went online at Amazon.ca and found it unavailable. I did a bit more searching and found it listed at Amazon.uk so I ordered it. It arrived last week (three days before it actually opened in theatres here in Canada). Well, I finally got a chance to watch it this afternoon and when I inserted the disc, a message appeared saying, "Region error. Please remove disc. Playback not authorized in your region." I am really stupid about stuff like that and am wondering if I will ever be able to watch this DVD or did I just waste $14?? Anybody any idea. I think this film is still in theatres in Canada right now. The name of the film is "Keeping Mum". Thanks for any help.

myself: Diner ; this used to be a VERY well talked about movie in the 80s, and it launched the careers of many of its cast. It is still talked today - some people compare Swingers to Diner. THERE IS NO COMPARISON. Swingers is at least funny , Diner is boing and goes nowhere; Swingers has conversation you can relate or laugh to-Diner has a bunch of guys quizzing a bride-to-be about footiball. Diner IMO is very overappreciated.
