It's a 10 most definitely. It has been remade a couple of times, under different titles. There was a version a few years ago with Marlo Thomas as the lead character.

It is the best Christmas movie ever. With the Polar Express a close second.

Well everybody agrees it's a 10. But, I don't like it very much, too fanciful. My favorite is A Christmas Story. It's the best!

My wife says it's an 11. And that it's a notch above all other top Christmas movies. I gotta go with the lady of the house. 11

It is one of the best Christmas movies ever. It tells a good story and is very entertaining. But I think the musical scrooge with Albert finny is Better. But in answer to you question it's an eight.

A 10, absolutely! I love this movie and look for it every year. I finally broke down and bought a vhs of it, couldn't find a dvd at the time.

It's definately a 10, cause that's the highest you can rate it. It's perfect just the way it is, and I hope that no one ever remakes it either. It wouldn't be the same.

10/10 however it has been over played and I don't watch it anymore.
Polar Express is a speeded up version of it. My kids have sit thru it 3 times this year on different channels
