About a month or more ago I read a review about this British film and it sounded interesting so I wanted to buy it. I went online at Amazon.ca and found it unavailable. I did a bit more searching and found it listed at Amazon.uk so I ordered it. It arrived last week (three days before it actually opened in theatres here in Canada). Well, I finally got a chance to watch it this afternoon and when I inserted the disc, a message appeared saying, "Region error. Please remove disc. Playback not authorized in your region." I am really stupid about stuff like that and am wondering if I will ever be able to watch this DVD or did I just waste $14?? Anybody any idea. I think this film is still in theatres in Canada right now. The name of the film is "Keeping Mum". Thanks for any help.

each section of the world (a little bit smaller or even wayyyyyyy smaller than a contintent) has its own dvd region like the us & canada are 1 and europe is 2

i watch a ton of polish dvds aand to watch them i had to put in a special code into the dvd

go to your dvd persons website and look for something that says change dvd region or somethinig similar to that

so if you cant find the code yes you did but if you can you didnt waste $14

I agree, because when their career is over, they're just going to have to add to it. I bought the Shawn Michaels Heartbreak and Triumph DVD. I didn't know how old it was and I found at the end it didn't have when Shawn Michaels ended Ric Flair's career. That's probably the biggest moment of Shawn's career and it would be better if it was on the DVD, and I agree with the Taker 15-0. I haven't bought it because . . well. . now he's 16-0, lol. Same reason I don't want to really buy a Undertaker 16-0 shirt.

Unless you want to purchase a European dvd player, you have just wasted your money. I suggest putting it on ebay...and sell it to a european.
