I have been re-viewing a lot of old WWII movies I thought were great when I was younger and they don't hold water. They use a lot of expository dialogue like: "As you know, Steve, you graduated at the bottom of your class at West Point. Thats why we think you'd be great for this mission: you are expendable. Oh, and I see by your file you are an expert in explosives....." You know, stuff like that. Now they can do all that very effectivly with the second crew doing cutaway shots etc.

There was a film on the other night called 'Only yesterday' on film 4 and it was chinese or japanese or somethin. it had english sub titles though and i really liked it and want it on dvd but i dont know were to get it or wot site i can downnload it from. any one know?

It had Rutger Hauer, he is blind and some sort of martial arts expert. I remember him kicking butt and using his cane. It was out in the 80's or 90's. Help
