A good one on this theme is Woody Allen's tribute to Alfred Hitchcock.' "Match Point". The "thief" is actually a killer (thief of life). He actually........ but I shouldn't be telling you about it ,else it would take away from the movie's appeal. It is well done in Hitchcockian style, with Woody appearing in the fim (cameo, just like AH) and shots of famous London spots. By the way, WA made most of his movies in Manhattan, he is a NewYorker to the core, but this film was shot (beautifully) entirely in London.
