I watched Silent Hill last night. Am I just getting old, or is this the weirdest movie ever? 24 hours later, and I still don't get it!

Nobody believed the alien was dangerous because it had such a lovley singing voice. It was a very silly B movie

I have heard that Edith bowman from BBC radio 1s grandfather has the original bus from the Italian Job(you know the one left hanging precariously over the edge of a cliff in the alps).Can anyone confirm this?

I didn´t find any funny acts in that film. the story is awful and the acting is very silly. Thank God that no one will see that film anymore today.

Americans (i think) are running away from an enemy camp. I think maybe to rescue prisoners of war. They are running through a field towards a helicopter. One of them tails behind and is shot. Also while they are in the camp one of the americans (up high on one of those look out stations) uses a granade to bomb himself and the enemy. This is all I remember of the whole film but would love to know what it is to see it again. I know im very vague but does anyone recognise it at all? Most probably a film from the 80's
