Americans (i think) are running away from an enemy camp. I think maybe to rescue prisoners of war. They are running through a field towards a helicopter. One of them tails behind and is shot. Also while they are in the camp one of the americans (up high on one of those look out stations) uses a granade to bomb himself and the enemy. This is all I remember of the whole film but would love to know what it is to see it again. I know im very vague but does anyone recognise it at all? Most probably a film from the 80's

except the soldier was running behind a Hercules
