it was when a boy gets out of eighth grade and it takes place during summer vacation and theres a big party and he gets drunk and hangs out with older kids and had a lot of fun. i know that in the beginning of the movie hes on a baseball team and the older kids are trying to haze him. i dont think its a recently released movie it seems kinda old. i saw it on tv about a year ago maybe a little less. i think it was on the amc channel on tv. thanks

This is an older B & W movie. Judging by the hairstyles and the cars I believe it mas made sometime in the 50's. The story is about a man and 2 sisters. The women who played the sisters were cast against type. The actress who looked severe and unfriendly was the kind and loving sister. The cute and perky sister was actually a total B. The male character is married to the mean sister, but he has always loved the nice sister, and she loves him as well. One day after a fight between the sisters the nice sister leaves the house in a rush and accidentally runs over the child of her sister and the man she loves. The mean sister leaves her husband because she blames her sister and he won't back her up. The nice sister and the man fall in love and have a child. Right after the baby is born the nice sister gives the child to her sister to replace the one that she accidentally killed and leaves. I think this movie was based upon a true event that was reported in the magazine Reader's Digest.

i havent seen it in AGES, its old though, like i watched it about (literally) 10 years ago.
i cant remember how it goes but i remember in the end these two women (i think thy're witches), they're in a church and they walk out of it and down the stairs and drop and break in to pieces.
and they still talkin when their heads and arms and feet are everywhere.
its like them weird supernatural movies.
does anyone know what its called?
i cant remember and im dieing to watch it! lol

It was on t.v around 1978-1982. It was about some guys who went on a hunting trip. they were shot at from another group of guys. After they went back home, they stocked up on more fire power and went back out there. The other guys were there and were just as prepaired.

i am thinking about recording the godfather 2 tonight like robert de niro but i havent seen any of the godfather movies because i was thinking that the trilogy might be a slow film to watch i also like robert de niro but the godfather movies im not to sure about watching

It seems more appropriate that Kurosawa be matched with Takashi Shimura, since he's been in more films and often has the lead over Mifune. His work in Ikiru was marvelous. Both have individual careers outside of AK films, but it seems wrong to put one over the other IMHO. Thoughts?
