White Christmas! Bing Crosby and Bob thingy! We did not have a television then, going to the pictures was a treat, the warmth, the thick carpets, plush red velvet curtains and gold and gilt decorations! The comfy thick velvet chairs! The films were a delight everything was so colourful, shiny lips, golden shiny hair, it was like watching another world, I have actually managed to find a video of it! Ah sweet memories!

Its easy to tell just how old each person is by the titles!!! And I know I am probably gonna be the ELDEST!!! lol.

I can't remember what the first film I went to see was, but the first time I remember going to the cinema as an occasion was to see "The Sound Of Music". We were on holiday on Portland and drove up to Dorchester, where we had to queue outside for ages before we could get to go in the cinema.

I can't remember if it was the Jungle Book, Singin in The Rain, no wait it was Elvis in Jailhouse rock. My Dad took me, I must have been 4. But it was before cinema's and the movies were not new because then it was rare that a new movie was released and the theater played the older films in between.

OMG, yes. I was very little & my father owned a drive in. The family took me along instead of finding a sitter. Looking back on it, the movie really isn't all that great but I loved it then. I saw the Planet of the Apes.

Dang, I'm getting old....but at least I'm aging like fine wine & I'm having a blast doing it. lol
