Did anyone but me notice the manner of speech has changed in "Dead Man's Chest"? I couldn't keep up with what was going on because they kept talking fast and screwy. They didn't speak as "simply" you know? I'll admit, I'm not good with 'really' big words and got lost. I had to hunt down the script, print it out, and study the conversations last night. So I think I finally figured it out, but sheesh, it's almost ridiculous..... Am I wrong?

That movie is funny as hell. It's a classic. Try comparing that to some of today's crappy comedy films.

in the movie, this caucasian guy goes into this bar and he meets this african american waitress girl, some kind of way he ends up keeping her locked in his basement... and i think he was using her for sex or something... i think she tries to escape and at the end of the movie they decide to start over as if they are just meeting and he finally lets her go but i think she fell for him. it's some movie my parents rented from blockbuster in the 90's.
