Is anyone getting sick of the movies that take place in the 60's when the teams are being integrated? Every single one of them has the same exact plot. Whites don't like the blacks, then the become a "family" then they win the championship. How many more of these films will there be, because the story line is overkill now.

It was made in the seventies (I watched it late eighties) I think. It was about a little gymnast girl who was trying to save a sea side town against dragons...It was on the BBC, and I'm sure it was on more than once...she beats them back with new weapons, and saves the town, but dies in the end. Anyone know the name, or what I'm talking about? 0.0

Ps. No, I'm not on medication...there really ARE spiders crawling on my face.....0.<

i did not like that movie at all. i've been wanting to see that movie since some of my friends seen it in survey lit and i don't take that class so when my sister let me see it, i was surprised, the movie was horrible. i watched twenty minutes of the movie and turned it off and it wasn't because i didn't understand what they were saying it was because it in modern day times and they talked like they were in the 1500's or something. if they were going to talk like that they could have at least dressed and made it seem like it was during those times. by the way, did people really talk like that back then?

I understand that a lot of movies today are very expensive to make. Many cost Hundreds of millions of dollars and will take hundred of years of man hours to produce. "Pirates of the Caribbean" was one of these movies. It is easily an $8 movie, and I probably would have paid as much as $12/ticket to see it. It was really good.

"Snakes on a Plane" is not an $8 movie. It is not a $6 movie. It might be a $5 movie. Yeah, I think I would have happily paid $5 for a cheep joke of a movie and have been happy afterwards. But I'm not going to pay $10 to see a $5 movie. Few will. That is why so many movies bust at the box office. They are trying to sell their $5 movies for the price of a $10 movie. No one wants to pay that.

It's like VW trying to get people to pay the same amount for a Beetle as the person would shell out for a BMW. It doesn't make sense. Why don't Theatres have different prices for different movies?
