Pretty in Pink, Some Kind of Wonderful, and Heathers. Oh oh oh...Sixteen Candles was awesome AND WAIT......just barely before the 80's.....Rock and Roll High School (1979) but i first saw it in 1982, does that count??? Aw man, Aliens and Alien were great too! I think maybe I spent too much time watching movies in the 80's.

As far as the '80's genre is concerned (i.e. high school movies or over-the-top action), I would have to say Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
