Did anyone but me notice the manner of speech has changed in "Dead Man's Chest"? I couldn't keep up with what was going on because they kept talking fast and screwy. They didn't speak as "simply" you know? I'll admit, I'm not good with 'really' big words and got lost. I had to hunt down the script, print it out, and study the conversations last night. So I think I finally figured it out, but sheesh, it's almost ridiculous..... Am I wrong?

Ah... maybe it was just me, mostly. Ok, thanks. Yes, I understand about the humor in it. That riddleing thing Jack does is one of the many things we love about him. :) .... I think It just takes me a while to sort out what the characters say and there's not enough time in between the lines to figure it out so I get lost. But hey, that's why it's good to buy the movie, right? :) Thanks guys.

I think it's that "middle movie syndrome". The first movie was fine by itself, but this one has to connect two, so it was pretty much talk talk talk action action action talk talk talk without much in between. And yes--I barely managed to catch the plot the first time I saw it, but ended up having to explain to the rest of the people I was with simply because so much of it was hard to catch.

Yeah, it was more of one of those movies where you just had to watch the action and stuff to figure out what was going on--but it was still pretty good.

it did a little bit.but i think they did it on purpose to make it funny. like when jack says all that mumbo jumbo like no we are going there but we're not going there but we're doing something and the other guys all like "so we are going?" and jack said "now youre just making it confusing!"

I think it might just be you, no offence. I've seen the movie twice and I found nothing wrong with it.
