Alex Wyler is supposed to be dead on 14 Feb 2006 but after Kate send a letter to the lake house, he's not going to Daley Plaza, therefore he's not going to have an accident. But his brother told Kate that Alex was dead on 14 Feb 2006 on acccident. The present date is14 Feb 2008; 2 years after the accident but somehow Kate has a chance to tell Alex not to go to the Daley Plaza.
Alex is alive but everybody knows that Alex was supposed to be dead on Val's Day 2006, 2 years ago.
It's really confusing..... worse than donnie darko...

I just finished watching it and I'm not sure I understand the ending. Pam calls Jason and tells him that his real name is David Webb, and that he should come in and they'd talk about his true identity. Jason responds that she looks tired and should get some rest, as he's watching her froma a nearby window. I don't understand that. Does that mean it's not over, that Pam was in on the plot to and she wanted to kill him? Or was he just being careful and keeping an eye on her..? If not, why wouldn't he go in and speak to her?

Also, close to the ending when he goes to that russian girl and tells her that he killed her parents, why would she just let him go? If someone finds that out that this guy killed their parents, would they just let them walk away? At least ask a few questions.

And why was the CIA telling him to kill an innocent guy? (Nesky, or whatever his name was.)
