I just finished watching it and I'm not sure I understand the ending. Pam calls Jason and tells him that his real name is David Webb, and that he should come in and they'd talk about his true identity. Jason responds that she looks tired and should get some rest, as he's watching her froma a nearby window. I don't understand that. Does that mean it's not over, that Pam was in on the plot to and she wanted to kill him? Or was he just being careful and keeping an eye on her..? If not, why wouldn't he go in and speak to her?

Also, close to the ending when he goes to that russian girl and tells her that he killed her parents, why would she just let him go? If someone finds that out that this guy killed their parents, would they just let them walk away? At least ask a few questions.

And why was the CIA telling him to kill an innocent guy? (Nesky, or whatever his name was.)

At the end of the movie Pam had figured out that Bourne had been framed (at the beginning of the movie when Marie was killed and all the stuff went down in Berlin) so she was just trying to help him out really. She knew form reading his file and learning about Treadstone that he had amnesia and didn't even know who he was. So really- she was trying to help him. His reply was basically saying thanks, but I'll deal with it on my own- he's perfectly capable of figuring it out.

The russian girl in my opinion was so overwhelmed with the info that her father didn't kill her mother and commit suicide, that she had no desire to stop him. In that culture, what's done is done.

To understand the deal with Nesky you need to understand Treadstone. It was a covert way for the government to rid themselves of certain irritations. Nesky was causing some sort of problem, so the government used these trained assasins to remove them.

Hope this helped you to understand the movie better- but it's only my perception of it.

You should pay closer attention when you're watching a fast paced movie. He didnt go to see Pamela at the end because when he asked her if is was over, she said but that off the record she wanted him to know his real identity. If he had come in he would still have been guilty of defecting from the CIA. As for the Russian girl, she was young, alone and scared, What did you expect her to do sitting in the face of murderer? And the whole basis for the movie started wtih setting him up to kill Nesky because he controlled the oil leases that the stolen CIA seed money was used to buy.

Perhaps he's still being carefull of the goverment and it's his way of saying that he's still got his eyes open. I think Nesky was a loose end to the corrupt CIA members plots to make money? Can't remember off the top of my head. They are planning to make the 3rd book into a movie though.

good question, i saw the movie a couple of times, but apparently not enough to answer you question. i think there might be a next part to the movie, just like how all movies are today, like spiderman and X-men, so i bet there is a next part.
when it comes to the russain girl. i think she has already gotten over the deaths of her parents, and did not want the details.
