the conflict between the classical middle class family values and rejecting youth values is depicted in a good way.I also love the 'chicken game' scenes by the way..

James Dean was a talentless hack, who only played 3 frickin' roles which were all described as "angst ridden teenager in a cool leather jacket". The conflict was trying to find him enough small words to say to justify his paycheck.
