My favorite film is Vertigo. It's an incredible artistic masterpiece, masterfully-arranged and richly textured, and the visionary Alfred Hitchcock's most profound and personal work. It is a tale of love, death, guilt and obsession, and it features highly inventive and creative camera angles, surreal and dream-like cinematography, vibrant San Francisco scenery, a hauntingly-beautiful and unconventional musical score from the legendary composer Bernard Herrmann, and a frightening, career-best performance from the terrific actor James Stewart.

The Breakfast Club, because it depicts real life issues such as, family disfunction, and peer pressure. These five students from very different bacgrounds are forced to spend the day together in detention. During the course of the day, thise five teens find that they have more in common than they ever imagined.

i would have to say that its too hard to choose...i mean, there are so many great movies...but i love the breakfast club, pretty in pink, sixteen candles, dune (the original, not the sci-fi one), interview with the vampire, the day after tomorrow, mary reilly, braveheart, rob roy, the lord of the rings trilogy (all three but especially the first one), play it to the bone, original sin, the cowboys, tombstone.........the list goes on and on but those are the best ones i can think of right off

Rear Window & Charade. Loved the actors/actresses in it & it was suspense at it's best. Never get tired of watching them. Also love 80's movies like Pretty in Pink a bit of nostalgia for me.:)

Sling Blade - I would guess, we as the audience relate to Carl, as a part of ourselves, in a way, that we never had a chance. You feel compassion for someone, that very little people in his own life did.
