Samuel L. Jackson is a great actor, and Nicholas Cage...has been in some very good films. Have you ever seen Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction (1994)? David Lynch's Wild at Heart (1990)? Or Spike Jonze and Charlie Kaufman's Adaptation (2002)?

No, Nicholas Cage has made some wonderful movies and so has Samuel L. Jackson. I'm not sure which movies you're watching, but you need to look at their earlier stuff.

LOL - you must have just watched Snakes on a Plane haha! Samuel's movies have been pretty shady the last few years - I guess his paychecks don't hurt - he's recieved a few lead movie roles, but for some reason, other than for Shaft, I don't think he can carry a movie himself.

Nic Cage was doing GREAT, like the Rock and Con Air, but took a haitus and his value nosedived (most celebrities that take a break have to work twice as hard to get back to their uber star status - like Madonna).

Although I admit, I really did like Lord of War.

So to answer your question - 10 years ago, no, but now? Yeah.

No because Pulp Fiction was one of the best movies ever with Samuel Jackson, and The Weatherman with Nic Cage was hysterical and so was raising Arizona!

The new 'World Trade Center' movie looks decent, and I 'Lord of War' was good (both Cage), but I'm not really on the Samuel L. Jackson boat.

The Rock was a great movie. Lord of War was also a really good movie. Both of them starred Nicholas Cage. So no, not every movie he makes is bad.

no---pulp fiction is a great movie-samuel l jackson was in that, also leaving las vgas with cage is good. i also think it could happen to you with cage is good, oh and family man, the rock, face/off. Everyone has done bad films. It's hit or miss, you just gotta do your best and hope it works out.

Yes, I hate Nicholas Cage with a passion. His worst acting job was in Con Air, " Why couldn't you just put the bunny in the box?" Awful!
