what do you think guys? is detective conan more popular than gunslinger girl or is it the other way around? i'm talking about which anime show people watch more, not which is better, although i would like to know both. oh, and please tell me why

Most anime when translated into english with the exeption of Full Metal Panic in my opinion does'nt sound as good as japanese is it just personal preference. For example i cannot watch One Piece in english and a lot of people who haven't seen the japanese versions think its stupid but in japanese its pretty good. Im suprised this doesn't affect more anime.

I have found 1-91 in english but none others. I would love to hear them in english and have tried veoh.com, crunchyroll.com, and others. People have told me to try youtube but I can't find them in english. Could you also tell me what exactly to search for in youtube if you say it? I'm a teacher in a Freshman English class and I have a reading rack for students. I don't know much about animae but my students love it. What series is good? I need series for both boys and girls. Also if there is a lot of sex, violence, or coarse language I would like to have a heads up (yes I will read them all before putting them on the shelf) Instead of sifting through tons of lame material I would like to know what rocks. If you could include a brief description of the series that would be cool too. Thanks for the help.

I love all of Hayao Miyazaki films and other Studio Ghibli films but there's only a few of them and I can't find any films similar to them. Got any suggestions? (not tv series)

Is anyone else upset that the series ended like that? I really don't think they are going to make anymore series just the magna but is there someway we, as the fans, can persuade them to continue? I love Inuyasha, it's a great story and it should continue to the end. Will they catch Nurako? Is Sango and Miroku going to get married? Will Inuyasha and Kigome ever kiss? Please, if there is a petition to sign or something, let me know.
