First of all, he's had quite a few girlfriends (and possibly a son by one of them)- Julie Madison, Vicki Vale, Talia, etc.

If it's because he wears tights, well, then all costumed superheroes must be gay.

And if you bring up Robin, having such a relationship would make him a pedophile (not gay), which is exactly the type of person Batman hates the most.
