There's certainly a lot of rumors about it but none was confirmed. However the anime itself was ended due to lack of interest in Japan. Inuyasha is in fact more popular in US and Canada. I would say the probability of having an OVA/movie will be greater than a continuation series. I'll settle for any at this point. ^_^

properly i study the ending this is stable optimistically they are going to %. off to have closure with the anime no longer purely the manga. i heard years returned that they could proceed the anime after the manga ending wish this rumor is real inuyasha grow to be my first anime and that i'll never overlook it.

There have been no official plans to that yet. But if the ratings rise, there might still be hope.

No. There are no plans from either Viz or Sunrise. There is a very major lack of interest in Japan for this anime to return, unfortunately and all of the animators have moved on to other anime.
