I want my son to play basketball this season. He is dead set against it. I told him if he decides to play I will buy him those really expensive basketball shoes. One to play in and one to practice in. So now he is thinking about it. He has played on several teams before but was easily discouraged because he did not get a lot of playing time.

He is an A student. He sings lead in the church choir and the school choir. I really dont have any problems of him other than being a goofey kid.

Last year I forced him to play football and he broke his arm. What would you do if you were his (single) mom.

BTW My son is 13yrs old 6'4" tall and a size 15 shoe.
(he just turned 13)

ive been awake for almost 24 hours!!!!!!! i woke up at almost 11:30 am yesterday morning and havent been able to sleep since, i tried goin to bed at 10 30 last nite but was restless so read a book, then around 1:oo am i i heard my sick brotha wake up so i helped him out and then when he was in bed i tried to go to sleep but i had intense cramps from my oh so convientient period that i couldnt evn begin to fall aslepp ive been watchin tv wit a heatin pad since 2:00am i dont feel tired anymore and i kno thats just not natural, there are no sleep aids in the house and we have no milk, any suggestions how i can get some shut eye?
ps ive taken midol repeatedly no results to help the pain

A guy has a horny parrot. It's terrible. Every time he reaches into the cage, the bird humps his arm. He invites his mother to tea, the bird keeps saying foul things. Finally he takes the parrot to a vet.
The vet examines the bird extensively, says, "Well, you have a horny male parrot. I have a sweet young female bird, and for fifteen dollars your bird can go in the cage with mine."

The guy's parrot is listening and says, "Come on! Come on! What are you waiting for??"

Finally, the guy says all right and hands over the fifteen dollars.

The vet takes the parrot, puts him in the cage with the female bird, closes the curtain. Suddenly, "Kwah! Kwah! Kwah!" Feathers come flying out of the cage.

The vet says, "Holy gee," and runs across the room and opens the curtain.

The male bird has the female bird down on the bottom of the cage, pulling out all her feathers. He's saying, "For fifteen bucks, I want you naked. Naked!"
