Looking for a witch movie from the 60s.?

I'm trying to find the title of a movie I remember watching as a child. I believe it started with something like a meeting of witches, and perhaps had a witch trial, like Salem. The movie followed a few generations of the same "witch" family. The most distinctive thing I remember was the final scene, in which the present-day woman with a stroller has a stranger (man) tie her child's shoe with the peculiar bow that someone had generations before...an eerie point that he must be another descendant, or relative. I seem to put Elizabeth Montgomery in the movie, but I find nothing for it in her IMDB page.

sent a work colleague a pair of used knickers as his secret santa, it contained a few strands of?

pubic hair. He says that he can use these and get a police pal of his to identify who sent them.
It was a joke (although I did fancy him at one stage) and I think its back fired.
Is it true that pubic hair can idenify a person?
