I'm trying to find the title of a movie I remember watching as a child. I believe it started with something like a meeting of witches, and perhaps had a witch trial, like Salem. The movie followed a few generations of the same "witch" family. The most distinctive thing I remember was the final scene, in which the present-day woman with a stroller has a stranger (man) tie her child's shoe with the peculiar bow that someone had generations before...an eerie point that he must be another descendant, or relative. I seem to put Elizabeth Montgomery in the movie, but I find nothing for it in her IMDB page.

After straining my brain, I think this movie also involved the significance of two different colored eyes (not to be confused with "Practical Magic"...the movie I'm looking for was at least 30 years ago, probably 35.)

It sounds a little bit like 'Horror Hotel' but I don't remember the scene you described.

ms montgomery was in the t.v. series bewitched which aired in the late 60's -70's. perhaps you're mistaken about the actress. the plot sounds a bit familiar but i can't place it right now. i'll keep looking.
