Other than the obvious reasons, what else makes it bad? Can there be a way to make it "good"?

Has any large group stepped in to prevent the bad issues revolving around sweatshop labor, or to end it totally? How come the UN is useless? It has good ideas, but why are they unable to enforce any of their laws?

Should I sue?

It snowed a lot here in Chicago last night and a bit of today and as I walk from public transportation to my building, I notice that everyone salts the sidewalk. I bought a nice pair of boots last year and I've noticed that the salt gets on them and as far as I'm concerned it's ruining them. I feel that every building I pass should be responsible for my boots. They are Timberlands and just because I got them on sale doesn't mean that I should have to pay for this damage. Cleaning them myself will not restore them to their natural beauty.

Do you think that asking a dollar from each building is a bit much?

is classical/pop crossover helping music?

i don't want any accusations of snobbery but all i hear are average musicians/singers backed by huge corporations who,frankly,aren't very good.
at the same time dedicated labels are seeing sales fall,and they're putting out music by uniquely gifted people.
i get wound up when i see the likes of all angels in the same section as cecilia bartoli,someone who can actually do it without a mic,massive reverb and some nob of a chart publicist.
forgive me if you think i'm being uppitty but since when did crooning vaguely constitute opera ?

Question for only men?

Do you prefer a jealous girl who always call you every second to know where you are and with whom? Or a girl who accepts your lifestyle but she's too romantic, and for you romance is cheesy, way too old fashioned, but she loves you no matter what you are doing? I know is complicated but I'm trying to find out why men are paying more attention to women who are jealous and loves their men to buy buy buy for them than a romantic woman who are more understandable to a man's freedom.
