A man at the pharmacy to pick up his Viagra prescription exclaimed over the $10/pill price. His wife, who was with him, had a different opinion: "Oh, $40 a year isn't too bad."


A very elderly couple is having an elegant dinner to celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary. The old man leans forward and says softly to his wife "It has always bothered me that our tenth child never quite looked like the rest of our children. I want to assure you that these 75 years have been the most wonderful experience I could have ever hoped for & your answer cannot take all that away. But, I must know, did he have a different father?"

The wife drops her head, unable to look her husband in the eye, she paused for moment and then confessed. "Yes he did."
The old man is very shaken, the reality of what his wife was admitting hit him harder than he had expected. With a tear in his eye he asks "Who? Who was he?
Who was the father?"

I just started watching the show over the last couple of months, but I've noticed the members of the main family seldom wear colorful clothing. Usually dark/muted colors, maybe an occasional pale lavendar or cornflower blue. The mom wore a red sweater once, but only during a short sequence when she talked about losing her virginity. Anyone else notice this? Any theories?

I do that sometimes, like having to explain something that you might have done wrong or something. Or the other day when my hamster got out of her cage when I was gone for like 3 hours, I just started panicking and stuff and moving fruniture to look for her and stuff and then it turned out she was right in her bag of food, I was like "Oh my god I can't believe that"

by this awful sounding terminology ... I saw "Black Ice" all over the news last night and what an awful thing it is, and I am very offended that they would name it after the innocent African Americans .... Shouldn't they name it something else, like invisible ice, or something?
