I do that sometimes, like having to explain something that you might have done wrong or something. Or the other day when my hamster got out of her cage when I was gone for like 3 hours, I just started panicking and stuff and moving fruniture to look for her and stuff and then it turned out she was right in her bag of food, I was like "Oh my god I can't believe that"

yes, I have done this. I am embarrassed and also feel guilty. If I have over exaggerated telling something to someone, and I really think about it later, I feel guilty because I feel like I have lied in some way. I hate lying.

yes and later u look back and realize that it must have been so obvious to them that u were lying and u feel so embarressed thats why i never try to exaggerate
