At a Catholic school, there was a "meet the teacher" open house for the 2nd graders. After the meeting, a Nun announced that there would be a small reception afterwards in the cafeteria. All the children and parents filed in, and saw on a table a plate of apples, a plate of cookies, and some water bottles and juice. As the children went through the line, one boy saw that there was a sign on the plate of apples that said, "Take only one. God is watching." So, the boy took an apple and moved on to the cookies. He helped himself, and then took a small piece of paper, and wrote: "Take all you want”. God is watching the apples."

i'm 21 and my bf is 22 (he's 9 months older). we've been together for about 4 months and we've discussed marriage because i'm a religious christian and i want a real relationship that'd end in that. he's agnostic but he's willing to convert. but the last time we talked about children, he wound up refusing and when i asked him why he said it's because he's not white (he's a brownish arab) and he doesn't want dark-skinned children in a mostly white country (we live in the us) because he doesn't want them to have the same identity crisis he had or face the same prejudice he faced. he said i have english, irish, italian, and lithuanian blood and i shouldn't water it down with his north african blood. i don't know what to do. i'd rather have my own children than adopt or be artificially inseminated, but i respect his experience and i love him very much. maybe behind closed doors i think he has a point.

after watching the documentary on C4?

just out of interest really.

(It just confirmed to me all the more reason to not drink the horrible stuff)

I've never let my kids drink it anyway and now they're in their teens they don't even like it.

I get the organic colas occasionally but they are only nice if really cold.

The story is set in the rough part of New York City, USA where a 15 year old boy called Leo is born into the gang culture with his 17 year old brother. As Leo gets older he gets older he is involved in serious crimes and has plenty of arrival gangs which end with one of his arrival gangs killing his brother.
When Leo is about 18, he falls in love with a woman called Tyra. But as a committed gang member, Leo is not allowed to leave his gang for any reason or he could be killed. The only way Leo can be with Tyra is to leave his gang life behind but his gang members don’t accept this, as you dedicated your life to being a gang member and must stay one. This results in death when his gang members kill both Leo and Tyra because of their love for each other.

I dont know who composed the main violin theme or who wrote it but it was hit you right where it hurts stuff.
I know John Williams wrote the score mostly.
