your bed sheets need turning and if it doesnt get done it could start a fire...

ok that was a lame excuse and wont work but i was thinking on the spot...

ok why not fake a dizzy spell and fall to the ground then demand that you stay at work(to make it look less fake) they should on health and safety grounds send you home!

I don't know whether your up for what my friend did, he pretended to have toothache and said he needed to get a tooth filled. They told him to get back within the hour, so he went to his dentist who said they would treat him as an emergency, he got the dentist to take the tooth out, because it was cheaper than having the ongoing root treatment. It wouldn't stop bleeding so the dentist stitched the gum, it got infected and he ended up with an abscess.
