I like to make little masks out of Laffy Taffy, and wear them around the house. I also like to pretend that I'm a Border Patrol guy, and my cat is an illegal immigrant, and I chase him all over the house. I told my friend, Jason, about my hobbies, and he won't talk to me anymore. Not much of a friend, huh?

IRS Job Interview?

Harry went to the Internal Revenue for a job interview.

The interviewer looked at his resume and asked him, "Have you worked for government before?"

"Yes, I served 8 years in the army."

"Good, that counts in your favour. Do you have any disabilities?"

"I am 80% disabled. A mortar round blew off my testicles so they declared me disabled. It doesn't affect my ability to work."

"Sorry to hear about the damage, but I have good news for you. I can hire you immediately. Our working hours are 8.00 to 4.00. Come on in about 10 tomorrow, and we'll get you started."

"If working hours are from 8 to 4, why do you want me to come at 10?"

"This is a government agency. We don't do anything but sit around and scratch our b*lls for the first two hours. No point you coming in for that."

I don't get it..why is he like this?

My fiance is a recovering alcoholic. He is now six months sober, but he has a few problems with his liver etc, so he is regularly seeing the doctor. I ask him how he is feeling, and if I'm not able to go to the doctor with him, I will ask him how it went and what the doctor had to say. When I do this he gets angry and tells me I'm being nosey and need to stop. And when I suggest something that might ease some of his pain, he gets angry as well and tells me I'm being a know it all. When I tell him I'm not being nosey, that I'm asking out of care and because I'm his fiance...he just continues to tell me to stop. And when I tell him that I'm not being a know it all, that I'm just trying to help him feel better, he tells me the same thing. But if I don't ask these questions or make suggestions, he'll tell me I don't care about him.

Why is he acting this way? Is it an ego/pride thing?
