that was written in the 1800's by a man who was on a ship, and some time earlier his daughter and wife had died on a ship coming or going to america, and when he was over the spot where their ship had wrecked, he wrote a Christian song. if you could tell me, that'd be great. :]

i used to listen to it when i was younger. all i can remember about it is that its about this guy whose son has a step-father and for his son's birthday, the dad buys him a toy horse but when he gets to the birthday party he sees that his son's step-father has bought him a real horse. AS he walks back to his truck he sets his gift down. If you can help me remember the name of the song, or even if you know one or two lines, anything that could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you think setting an alarm is bad for health? I was thinking about this the other day, when the alarm goes off, it basically 'jump starts' your body, so maybe in the long run it can be very detrimental to ones health. Anyone have any ideas? What you people think?
