I heard it on my local oldies station once and I thought the tune sounded like another one of their hits but it was alomst over by the time I turned the radio on so I didn't hear much of it. Can anyone help me with this?

My music taste is a bit random but here it is: flyleaf, pink, paramore, panic! at the disco, AFI, FALL OUT BOY, dashboard confessional (i've only heard a few songs but they are pretty cool), hawthorne heights (only heard a few songs but they're cool), cute is what we aim for, my chemical romance, and red jumpsuit apparatus.
I like more but i'm too lazy to list it.
also i like stuff that sounds like razorblade kiss by HIM.
i like stuff with cool beats and interesting lyrics I can try to figure out the meaning to.
kind of stuff that sounds like little razorblade by pink spiders, and she will be loved by maroon 5, too.

I want to be a go go girl for halloween. i know where to get the costume, but there is a problem. it doesnt include the go go boots. and the boots are $40 if i purchase them separatlely. i dont wanna do that because im probably not going to wear them ever again. so what can i substitute for them? any ideas? and where can i find it?

Many rock ballads, as we know, can be cheesy... but name one that is acceptably "cool" in your opinion, and state the reason why...

(This question was inspired by one that R&P member Spooky posted out a few days ago ... on the cheesiest rock ballads)

For instance:
I like Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" because it's the song in that famous scene in "Say Anything" where John Cusack serenades a girl with a boom box over his head...

...therefore it has a coolness factor to it and isn't cheesy
