What do you think of loners? Loser or cool?

What about those loners who give monosyllabic answers to everything, and don't make an effort to be friend even after one accommodating person goes up to them and try to chat them up?

Or what about those very shy types who feel left out in cliques and just leave to be on their own? But who try to talk and be fun when others talk to him/her (just that the loner doesnt initiate much convo)

and once you pull up to the second window they ask you whether you want the happy meal for boy or girl...but when you go to the drive through by yourself to buy happy meal without any kids in the car, they don't ask you whether the happy meal is for boy or girl...instead you have to tell them this happy meal is for boy. lol Does this ever happened to you too?

Remember costumes, parades, and room parties? Are "scary" costumes still allowed? How about blood & guts? Fake, plastic weapons? Or is your school weening from this tradition? Perhaps they're holding a fall festival instead.

Do you really get the sarcastic sense of humour that some Brits possess?
Sometimes i don't really "get" American jokes but it seems to me that when i am slightly sarcastic, in a witty way with American friends, they really just don't understand.
