Can't recall name, actor, or director. It takes place out at sea on a ship being attacked by giant squid. It ends with the protagonists stranded on an island about to be attacked by some other giant monster. Any ideas?

A burglar breaks into a house. He sees a CD player that he wants so he takes it. Then he hears a voice "JESUS is watching you". He looks around with his flashlight wandering "What The HELL Was That?".

He spots some $ on a table and takes it......Once again he hears a voice " JESUS is watching you". He hides in a corner trying to find where the voice came from. He spots a birdcage with a parrot in it! He goes over and asks " Was that your voice?". It said "YES". He then says "What's your name?". It says "MOSES".

The burglar says " What kind of person names his bird moses??" The parrot replys "THE SAME PERSON THAT NAMES HIS ROTWEILER "JESUS".

This song was sung by a woman, and I believe it is named Take that...because it goes... "Take that letter from your girlfriend, Take that gold ring off your hand, as long as your a going don't look back, the door says exit baby...Take that!" I have been looking for days, and just can't seem to find it, either I have the name of the song wrong or something...I don't know! Help me please...it's kind of driving me crazy now...lol

So I am currently working on a movie. To describe the genre is really hard, but horror/action/romance mostly, I suppose. It's a mixture of everything with horror at the upfront because of supernatural aspects and lots of blood.

It's not going to be a happy movie throughout, even though it's not a slasher. And the end will be tragic, with no happiness thrown in. It would be betraying the whole idea of the movie to make it happy for the sake of the audience.

I've always admired movies with the guts to not adhere to the standards of the Hollywood ending. Something that makes one think, or shocks you, as opposed to fluff and happiness, I think is something to be respected.

So, the question is, how would a movie that doesn't give you any sort of happy closure make you feel? What would you THINK of it?
