Baby shower is tommorow at my work and Ive had my gift for weeks ..?

But today my boss says " im bringing chips and dip" and looks at me like 'what are you bringing?'
(This is the first that I've heard of any food bringing .)
Im in between pay checks and cant afford a last minute party purchase.
They know Im a single mother that works part time for minimum wage and all my extra money goes into my gas tank so I can go to school .
I feel bad bcuz I cant bring any food . i cant even make any food bcuz I only have enough to last my son and I til next payday .
I told my boss today that Id try to bring some jello , but I only have one box .
I really dont know the proper thing to do in this situation . What would you do ?

Have you ever seen someone who likes to take up multiple parking places?

Tonight I saw a car that blocked 3 parking spots and 1 of them was for handicapped which they weren't.
What do you think of people who park like this? I think it is simply rude and inconsiderate.

Oh by the way, it got towed and they got a $60.00 ticket.

Should my attorney get the full comission on this case?

I have been fighting for my SSI for almost three years. Less than 1 year ago, after my second turn down (reconsideration) I took my medical records.....that I collected myself....to an attorney to hire him.....because I was anticipating having to go before the judge.

In the meantime, a great doctor of mine obtained a special form and submitted it for me....and got me approved. Now, there is no need for a hearing and I have been awarded.

So, the only thing this attorney has done for me is to file one form, that I could have easily done myself. My question is......does he deserve full commission, now?

Are court shows like Judge Judy real or fake?

Judge Joe Brown , Judge Mathis, People's Court, etc.

Anyone know if they're real or fake? Do the people on the show get paid for being on there?

Proof would be really great if you guys could find any.

My dad watches these shows all the time, and I was just seeing if they were real or not. People go on those shows for the stupidest reasons.

I'm looking for who sings the song with lyrics about a pilot trying to pull a plane out of a nose dive.?

I heard this song quite a few years ago (within the last decade... probably 3 or 5 years ago), it was a country song (I think) and all I remember is that it is about people on a plane and one of them (I think it was the pilot but my mom says it was a passenger) is calling his wife to say "good-bye" and I THINK the last line of the song is,
"As the pilot tried to pull the plane out of a nose dive"
I've been looking for this song FOR YEARS and am actually starting to doubt its existance.
