Is it hard to learn how to play the drums from someone you love?

I want to learn the drums and my boyfriend will teach me but I'm not patient at all. and I really enjoy spending time with him. I'm afraid that the drum lessons with turn into make-out sessions. which I wouldn't mind but i really want to learn to play the drums

What did you guys think of the movie Stranger than Fiction?

Caution to those who havn't seen the movie yet...
But i thought the ending was extremely... i don't want to say stupid.. but weird...
Why couldn't she just have started a new book with a different character name?
Or better yet.. same character and story line but have some other person type it for her?
And whats up with Focker's dad saying Will Farrell needs to die for the sake of literature?
Thats going wayyyyyy too far.. if i was Farrell I'de tell Mr. Focker to shove it..
I thought the movie was pretty good though.. and yes.. i know it IS just a movie and such an ending it supplied provided a better story line.
But i was just wondering if any of you guys had the same thoughts as i did.

An Irish rock band out of Chicago with a female violin player? Who are they?

I used to see this band live often in Chicago and Madison back in the early 90's. I think they were shown playing in a pub in the movie Ladder 49, but they aren't on the soundtrack. The girl was an amazing violin player. I don't know if this band still exists, but does anyone know who I am talking about and what the name of their band was or is?
