A man has spent many days crossing the desert without water. His camel dies of thirst. He's crawling through the sands, certain that he has breathed his last breath, when all of a sudden he sees an object sticking out of the sand several yards ahead of him.

He crawls to the object, pulls it out of the sand, and discovers what looks to be an old briefcase. He opens it and out pops a genie...

But this is no ordinary genie. He is wearing an IRS ID badge and a dull gray suit.

There's a calculator in his pocket. He has a pencil tucked behind one ear.

"Well kid," says the genie. "You know how it works. You have three wishes."

"I'm not falling for this." says the man. "I'm not going to trust an IRS agent."

"What do you have to lose? You've got no transportation and it looks like you're a goner anyway!"

The man thinks about this for a minute and decides that the genie is right.

"Okay, I wish I were in a lush oasis with plenty of food and drink."

Supposing you were James Bond and you were in a rush. Then suppose you got stuck in a queue at the shops. Suppose the queue consisted entirely of doddery old women, each buying fifty cans of cat food, a bag of hairnets and some pile cream, and they were ALL paying with coupons.

Would you just kill them all to get them out of your way. I mean, it's not like you're going to be arrested, having a license to kill and all. Would you use your license to kill in minimally irritating situations?

RESIGNATION

I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult.
I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of an 8 year-old again.

I want to go to McDonald's and think that it's a four star restaurant.

I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make a sidewalk with rocks.

I want to think M&Ms are better than money because you can eat them.

I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer's day.

I want to return to a time when life was simple; When all you knew were colours, multiplication tables, and nursery rhymes, but that didn't bother you, because you didn't know what you didn't know and you didn't care.

All you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should make you worried or upset.

I want to think the world is fair. That everyone is honest and good. I want to believe that anything is possible. I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be
overly excited by the little things again.

I want to live simple again. I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank, doctor bills, gossip, illness, and loss of loved ones.

I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow.

So . . . here's my check book and my car-keys, my credit card bills and my
401K statements. I am officially resigning from adulthood.

And if you want to discuss this further, you'll have to catch me first, cause........

im using acid pro, but when i use midi feature, the sound so unrealistic :( (even when i added some effect)
anyone give a url/tips for composing song using software?
or may be a better software than acid pro?

i was at walmart yesterday and they had the shelves loaded with easter crap already. its a month away. how long do they think it takes in advance to buy a few chocolate bunnies, and dont you think its kind of rediculous when you go somewhere and all the christmas decerations are already up and its not even thanksgiving yet?

A girl invites her boyfriend over for dinner with her family that night. She tells him that she is ready, and that is the night they will have sex for the first time. The boy, excitedly, rushes out to buy his first pack of condoms. He's looking through all of them, when the pharmacist stops and asks him if he needs help. "Well, I'm having sex with my girlfriend for the first time tonight" the boy says. The pharmicist sits him down and discusses sex with him, then hands him some condoms and he's on his way.

That night, the boy is extremetly quiet as they sit down to dinner. The girls dad asks him to say grace. The boy begins his prayer, then, time passes on and on, and he keeps praying, with his head bowed and eyes shut, for at least 5 minutes.

The girl leans over to him and whispers" I had no idea you were so religious."

He whispers back to her "I had no idea your father was a pharmacist!!"
