how do you create a cartoon or animation series?

I want to create a cartoon series for television but I don't know how to start. I want to learn how other tv series like Samurai Jack and Star Wars Clone wars were created.

Lots of drawings, lots and lots and lots of drawings.

There are usually lots of drawers that do this called animators, these people are the animation industry equivalent of manual laborers.

Then you need to color them, this today are usually done by a bunch person using computers, these too are the animation industry equivalent of manual laborers.

Then there are the editors, these too are the animation industry equivalent of manual laborers.

And so on, and so on.

Suffice to say, if you want to work in creating animation, prepare for manual labor.

simplest short-cut method :-

Look in the Mirror .......... you will find the cartoon.

Then laugh at what you saw ........ you will make it animated !

Tedious long method :

(1) if you do not know computers :- Paint a cartoon character, and then re-paint pictures for each movements........ at the rate of 16 pictures per second. Then photograph the pictures in sequence........

(2) if you know computers :- create a cartoon character thru CAD, then use graphics software to give them 3-D effects and create animation also.......
