One time when I was home visiting my folks, my mom asked me to set the table for dinner. I opened the refrigerator and taped to the inside of the door was a risque picture of a lovely, slender, perfectly built, but scantily-clad young woman.
"Mom, what's this?" I asked.

"Oh, I put that up there to remind me not to over-eat," she answered.

"Is it working?" I asked.

"Yes and no," she explained. "I've lost 15 pounds, but your dad has gained 20!"

I would like to know who out there is a lifetime subscriber to a particular magazine and why you are one. What gives you the energy and motivation to be one for this particular type of magazine? For me, it's VIBE magazine. The 1st issue i purchased was the April '96 issues with Mariah Carey on the cover when she dropped the album Daydream. My 1st subscription magazine came two months later when i received the June '96 issue and the Fugees graced the cover. I love the artists that grace the cover of this magazine every month and i love the way the writers put a spin on these artists' lives and write bomb articles! I happen to own 122 of the 150 magazines that VIBE has put out! I love reading the mail to see what other readers have to say, the main features, the 20 ?'s, and "Next" about who's the next to blow up. It's crazy how the majority of the people who get featured in this column don't. Bring back "Domepiece." Having an experienced vet talk about his experiences is always helpful!
