my boyfriend and i have been arguing a lot the last couple of days. well you know when a guy saying he's sorry, he gets flowers, well what should i get my boyfriend to say sorry? something i can get today because he gets home from work in 5 hours. thank you in advance!

Nothing permanant. That's why flowers are good, because eventually they die and you throw them away, along with any memories of what you fought about (hopefully). So how about some good steaks. Or a 6-pack of the beer he likes but is usually too expensive. Something like that. It doesn't have to be food, of course, but it shouldn't be permanant.

Make him a 'coupon' book. You have the computer right? Just make up and print some coupons. i.e., free backrub, free dinner for the 2 of you, etc. This is an inexpensive way to make up!! :)

Guys usually don't want anything and to be honest would rather foregt about the whole thing and HATE even having to "talk" about it.
So the best "gift" would be hug, a kiss , an "Im sorry, and move on. If you have to give him something material - give him a photo of you for his wallet or room.
