Who else loves Life on Mars, and is it just me or is Philip Glenister absolutely fantastic in the role of Gene Hunt? I think he's GREAT!

I too love Life on Mars and have a secret crush on DI Tyler. This is the last series, though, and next week's is the last one ever.
BUT Philip Glenister has been offered a spin-off series where he plays the same role with the other characters but before DI Tyler arrived. Can't wait.

Yeah isnt it fantastic , i issed the first series till i got it for chirstmas and now am an avid fan,its great to watch a programme thats so unpolitically correct and Philip Glenister is fantastic as D.C.I Gene "Genie" Hunt and John Simm Plays Sam Tyler a modern day policeman in an politically uncorrect world.
I loved in the first series when Sam asks about his P.C and they assumed he meant a police officer and also when sam asks for a "virgin mobile number" the operator tells him off she thinks he is being dirty on the phone.
There is also to be a spin off from Life on Mars called Ashes to Ashes with D.C.I Gene Hunt in the eighties
Also they are auctioning Gene Hunts Ford for Red Nose Day love to win that baby

Life on Mars rocks.It's by far the best series on tv right now.Pity this is the last series tho.It's not being made after this one.Tho i read there's gonna be a spin-off called Ashes to Ashes.It's set in the early 80's & will have Hunt & Annie as senior CID detectives.Can't wait!

Bloody surprising prepare. it somewhat is having the 2nd sequence early in 2007 i've got self assurance i study and heard it on television and tv mags. Will the subsequent sequence be tremendously much as good simply by fact the final! interestingly some new faces are to be in it.

Love it. It's so funny at times. Can't think what the outcome will be. Suppose Sam will wake up, but what a shame. Were coppers really that bad though.

My boyfriend loves it, and I could take it or leave it, but I'm not a big TV watcher anyway. I'm going to get him the DVD boxset for Xmas!

i love gene hunt i laugh every time he comes on the screen. we all should have bosses like him .
