A man walked into a cafe, went to the bar and ordered a beer.

"Certainly, Sir, that'll be one cent."

"One Cent?" the man thought.

He glanced at the menu and asked, "How much for a nice juicy steak and a bottle of wine?"

"A nickel," the barman replied.

"A nickel?" exclaimed the man. "Where's the guy who owns this place?"

The bartender replied, "Upstairs, with my wife."

The man asked, "What's he doing upstairs with your wife?"

The bartender replied,

"The same thing I'm doing to his business down here."

The 5th Affair:

Jake was dying. His wife sat at the bedside.

He looked up and said weakly, "I have something I must confess."

"There's no need to," his wife replied.

"No," he insisted, "I want to die in peace. I slept with your sister, your best friend, her best friend, and your mother!"

"I know, I know," she replied. "Now just rest and let the poison work."

Now that I.T.V. and Channnel 4 are investigating some of their premium line phone quizes (and the late night cack is being taken off completely for a while at least - yay) I have to say that I've always though R and J's quiz was a bit dodgy. It's weird the way they always say something like the quiz will be after the break and when they come back they usually say no more calls we've got a contestant on the line. It's always struck me as a bit suss. So does this mean that they are still taking calls whilst they've already picked someone during the break and if so I can't see how R and J can plead innocence because of how they call time on the calls and then immediatly say they've got a caller on line?

Fishy isn't it?

A Fairytale For The Assertive Woman Of The 2000's

Once upon a time,
in a land far away,
A beautiful, independent,
self assured princess,
happened upon a frog as she sat
contemplating ecological issues
on the shores of an unpolluted pond
in a verdant meadow near her castle.
The frog hopped into the Princess' lap
and said:
" Elegant Lady,
I was once a handsome Prince,
until an evil witch cast a spell upon me.
One kiss from you, however,
and I will turn back
into the dapper, young Prince that I am
and then, my sweet, we can marry
and setup housekeeping in yon castle with my Mother,

on a repast of lightly sauteed frogs legs
seasoned in a white wine and onion cream sauce,
she chuckled to herself and thought:

I think they should rename it the Dr. Wit show...it seems like that is his main agenda anymore...how witty he can make himself sound...he gets on a roll...as though it has been rehearsed...and no matter what the guest are saying...he stays the course...no matter how ridiculous he sounds...used to be about helping people...but lately it seems like he just wants to grind people in the ground and see how smart he can sound doing it...I really think the show has gone off course. Sad...I had hope in the beginning...I guess everyone gets sucked into all the fame and glamour. Too bad. Anyone else feel the same?

spend time in the celebrity portion of YA. If they aren't worth talking about and anyone who is a 'fan' is stupid and needs to get a life, why even answer questions in here. Seems like the people who think they are such a waste of time, but still answers posts about them are the ones without a life.....why else would you spend your free time talking about things that you don't like?
