I guess it's because they don't have a way of releasing what they are feeling at the time so they are just trying to get it out by posting a misery or distress question.

People venting their frustration by repeated postings.
This is Yahooland; not reality. Yahoo can - and does - have its own rules of behavior, just like your employer does. Plus, there's no way they can possibly handle the sheer volume of postings with actual human beings doing the "moderation." Yahoo relies on the participants to perform the "reporting," correctly or incorrectly, and possibly they have some word recognition software.
But repeated postings will solve nothing...
