producers and actors , why don't they just make all small indie ones. I hate the fact that sometimes you never even heard of movie that won the best awards and you can't even find them at movie theater. And why are small indie film so boring ?

I can see Martin winning best director, because he has a great filmography.
However, what was great about The Departed?

I took nothing away from watching it. By logic of it winning, The 6th Sense is a best picture movie as well. It was well made with a suprise ending.

If you took something of value from The Departed, please tell me!

I'm not really shocked. I just know that whoever gets the most publicity will win the award. Jennifer Hudson has been all over the news this past couple of weeks. In other words, the media decides who will win. I don't think it's fair that we don't hear about the other nominees, I'm wondering why they don't get airtime, they've been nominated, so I'm pretty sure they were great too.

And about Martin Scorsese, just because he hasn't won an Oscar award does not mean that they owe it to him.

and of course everyone's favorite part was when kenny was unhooded and talked at the end. i'm so glad they're making more episodes with kenny unhooded now..

beeh but i didn't like the parts of the movie with satan and saddam. t'was too obscene for my taste :/

Like The Departed... I really don't think remakes should get nominated for Best Movie...

Infernal Affairs was already a damn good movie already... and to remake and get a Best Movie Award... is whack
