Two years ago, in August and I was sitting in the backyard in the cold just waiting for one to pass by. I live in a city, so I don't see too many shooting stars with all of the light pollution.

A couple of years ago when I was camping in Oman desert in the Persian Gulf. The sky was the clearest I've ever seen and there were so many stars. I lost count how many shooting stars we saw that night.
I've never seen a sky like that one ever since...

I saw a couple last night when I was sitting on the patio. I sit out there and look at the stars for a few minutes every night. It helps me get my mind off of the real world for awhile. I usually see at least one meteor.

Last fall when I was out on my balcony enjoying a late night swing in my porch glider. See a lot of things at night and it's all heavenly.
