My co-worker Tom keeps this little running water fountain thing at his desk. Should I put some soap in it so it bubbles all over and ruins his desk?

Three contractors were visiting a tourist attraction on the same day. One was from New York, another from Texas, and the third from Florida.

At the end of the tour, the guard asked them what they did for a living. When they all replied that they were contractors, the guard said, "Hey, we need one of the rear fences redone. Why don't you guys take a look at it and give me a bid?" So, to the back fence they all went to check it out.

First to step up was the Florida contractor. He took out his tape measure and pencil, did some measuring and said, "Well I figure the job will run about $900. $400 for materials, $400 for my crew, and $100 profit for me."

Next was the Texas contractor. He also took out his tape measure and pencil, did some quick figuring and said, "Looks like I can do this job for $700. $300 for materials, $300 for my crew, and $100 profit for me."

Without so much as moving, the New York contractor said, "$2,700."

The guard, incredulous, looked at him and said, "You didn't even measure like the other guys! How did you come up with such a high figure?"

"Easy," he said. "$1,000 for me, $1,000 for you and we hire the guy from Texas."

Without a doubt, my favorite D.A. is Adam Schiff.

He was not as active, vocal or opinionated as the other D.A.'s, but when he acts, it's powerful. I love the opisodes where he talks to or confronts a colleague who's giving McCoy a hard time. Great drama there.

I wish he is still the show, but I know, how old is he now, 90 or something?

It's just that, I really cannot stand the current D.A., played by the Republican Fred Dalton Thompson. He's one of the reasons why I stopped watching the new episodes and stuck to the reruns.

the commercial is fairly new and the song in it is a really upbeat rock song with a superfast tempo and a lot of distortion in the guitar part.
in the commercial there are more colors than the classic iPod commercials so it's a bit easier to tell from other ones. it's such a good song though and every time that commercial comes on i want to get up and dance! i really want to download it so can anyone tell me what song it is?

Shouldn't a business owner have the right to decide whether to allow smoking in their establishment? Why can not the owner of a bar post a sign on the door saying Smoking Allowed or Not Allowed? Leave it up to the patrons to decide if they want to spend their money there instead of having the owners rights infringed upon.
