I personally LOVE Lily Allen...she ROCKS!!! Her songs are far from sugar-coated!!!
Lady Sovereign annoys me, on the other hand! She's trying hard to be a toughie (although I must admit I like her witty rap), when she simply looks like a tiny version of Sporty Spice!

What if I went!? What if I went and got killed!?

The Army Reserves just called for me...my ex is overseas because of them and now they want me to go n stuff...what if I went!? What if I was sent overseas!? I would surely die without P & S before I was shot or blown up or anything...

The music industry...the great pretender?

Is the music industry really all that it is cracked out to be? In a day of mutliple "specialist" music courses do they really give students the right guidance and a realistic view into how the industry is run? My opinion is no they don't and I am researching for my dissertation and would like opinions on whether it is worth knocking on the industry door or building your own part of the industry. Serious answers only I will have NO problem deleting stupid answers.

What causes one cable station to go completely black??

The food network station channel 67 in southeastern wisconsin has been out or black (no picture) for 3 or 4 hours today...except for a few short commercials. I can't connect with anyone on the phone or haven't had a email response from this cable company either. They might be busy with other similar calls.
All the other stations work fine on our televisions but this one.
Anybody else out there, every have that problem? If so...what was wrong??
