50's is just getting started honey, people don't really start to enjoy life until they're are at least 50..... and most people don't have enough money to do whatever they want till then.

No its not. Women in their 50's are soooo hot and I am a man in mine. I thought I would chase women who were younger, but nope, you are the best age to be. Great conversation, interesting experiences and the best sex ever. Warning though, many women who get into their 50's work hard at being whatever their girl friends want them to be and often that is what you just described that you were not. Good example, middle aged women 95% of the time wear their hair the way they think everyone expect them to wear it, like their friends. And they are often afraid to wear it anyway but what some people call the registered nurse short cut. Have you ever been with a group who started talking about a middle aged woman who has long hair? If so, you know what I mean. Be whatever you want to be, please yourself. If you are single, date a lot.

The closer I get to 50, the younger it is. One of my best friends is 53 and she doesn't look or act a day over 51. Just kidding. 50 is the new 38.
LOL at "HRT patch" You're forever young on HUMOR alone my friend.

It depends on your perspective. Twenty years ago, at my 20 year class reunion and alumni banquet, when they introduced the members of the 40th year graduates I thought, "My gosh they are old". Now it is my 40th year and it is my turn to be considered old by the 20 year graduates. I certainly don't feel old but I do wonder sometimes where did all the time go. I am currently 56-slightly younger than others I graduated with as I graduated at age 16.

No I'm also 51 and I don't feel or look it at all. I run with my grand-kids and I even beat my 6 year old grandson that wanted to race me. I believe if a person feels old then they are going to be old.

no, i have never thought it was old. i'm 25 and i know that 50 is just around the corner. my parent's are 50 as well and i don't think of them as being 'old' they are just my parents. i don't even think of my grand parents as being old because they aren't frail and helpless. they are both active.
