If you were a middle manager in a company with 2 coworkers who don't like each other..How would you handle it?

1. Senior Staff. 45 yr old. 16 year experiences in the company. Mrs. Know-it-all. Street-smart. However, her knowledge to updated software/system is limited. She is well respect by most co-workers. She DOES NOT like the COO at all. In the organization, she's your subordinate.

2. COO. 43 yr old. 2 year in this company. Book-smart. Know the software/system and politics but not so much of most clerical work. Rely on Senior staff on solving many problems. He is both you and Senior staff's boss. He has the title and power. However, he knows he CAN NOT let go of this senior staff.

I'm looking for a title of a movie. I believe it was made in the early 1990s. The story starts with a couple of soldiers waiting for a shipment. when it arrives, one of the solders girlfriends hops off a helicopter . she is only sunspots stay till the helicopter brings another shipment. where the soldiers are staying they are separated by a fence. on the other side of the fence are a different type of soldiers (I Believe they are called the green bray) they go out in the danger spot to notify the soldiers where to go. at the end of the movie she leaves her boyfriend and becomes one of them. the green bray. if you know the title please E Mail me. He is a great character! Perfect for CGI. (You've got to get the right actor, though.) Any suggestions for an actor? Let's start with the guy we ALL start with: Nicholas Cage. I have a TWIST, though: We can use Sean Connery (it's an easy role, not very physically demanding, as the ring does most of the work--not that Sean can not DO physically demanding things). He could be an older Lantern who gives the ring to someone younger. I HAVE ONE DEMAND: STOP using YOUNG actors who are under 30 for all these "Origins...Beginnings..." films!! Let's just see the hero in action AS A MATURE ADULT, ALREADY EXPERIENCED without having to sit through the whole ORIGIN and psychological ISSUES STUFF!!!!! Blah!!!!! Let's se an ALL ACTION film!!!!!!

As a parent I try to use lots of other forms of discipline for my children like redirecting, posistive reinforment , or time outs. I dont spank them often, but do you think it is out of line to give you child a good swat on the bottom if they do something dangerous????? My 3 1/2 yr old ran across a parking lot the other day because she didnt want to hold my hand while walking across the street/parking lot. Once in the car I gave her ONE swat on the bottom. Do you think ok to spank, give a swat on the bottom for times like this??????
