When I was about 12 or so, I bought the smashing pumpkins "pisces iscariot" album and I always thought that billy corgan's solo performance of the fleetwood mac classic was one of the best songs (and performances) ever. but then the dixie chicks went and did a totally lethargic version that has made the song well known, and everyone thinks that its a dixie chicks original. Now, if you play the older versions, people say, oh, why would they cover that awful dixie chicks song!? whadayou' think?

Beauty and the Geek application video?

Recently my friends have urged me to apply for the next season of Beauty and the Geek, due to the fact that I am, in fact, a geek.

The website has an application form, but also says to include an up to 10 minute long video.

Does anyone have any clue as to what kind of things to include in my video? So far I have about 45 seconds of babbling, I just have no clue what to say or do.

How to pull off this practical joke??

Hello all. I want to do a practical joke on my wife. We both speak Spanish but not Italian. I want to (in the middle of the night while she´s sleeping) start making exorcist noises and start saying some phrases in Italian, which she knows I don´t speak. What could I say in Italian, that would be associated with an exorcism and how would I pull the joke off? Also, when she starts freaking out, and I start laughing...would you dump me or would you think it was really funny?

Have you heard that Passions is being cancelled? Are you upset?

i have been watching Passions since the beginning...and i love it...but they are taking it off NBC in September.. Maybe if enough people write NBC they won't cancel it. They are cancelling it to add yet another hour to "The Today Show"

I received a phone call from a gorgeous ex-girlfriend the other day.
We lost track of time, chatting about the wild, romantic nights we used to
enjoy together.

I couldn't believe it when she asked if I'd be interested in meeting up and
rekindling a little of that "magic".

"Wow!" I said. "I don't know if I could keep pace with you now. I'm a bit
older and a bit balder than when you last saw me."

She just giggled and said she was sure I'd "rise" to the challenge.
"Yeah." I said. "Just so long as you don't mind a man with a waistline
that's a few inches wider these days!"
She laughed and told me to stop being so silly.

She teased me saying that tubby bald men were cute, and she was sure I would
still be a great lover.

Anyway, she giggled and said, "I've put on a few pounds myself!"

So I told her to "***** off..."
